I grew up in San Antonio, played mariachi with Mariachi Los Caporales, Mariachi Azteca, Mariachi Los Arrieros del Valle and others. After attending San Antonio College, UTSA, and UTPanAm (UTRGV), I moved to Las Vegas and have helped build the mariachi program for the last 20 years in CCSD. In my many years in the classroom, I have developed resources, lessons and student friendly arrangements for all levels of mariachi education.
